    Responsibilities

    SCOPE OF POSITION:

    The Maintenance Inventory Supervisor will be working in a fast-paced, growth oriented environment.  The successful incumbent will lead the Maintenance parts and inventory activities in the manufacturing plant. Be able to work and plan shut downs / projects with Maintenance supervisors and PM planners. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and establish check-in, stock-picking, and shipping procedures
    • Establish a valuation method that is documented and becomes the new standard for the department
    • Maintain the minimum inventory for the plant
    • Work with budgets for the department
    • Able to collaborate with venders / Finance
    • Participate in improving organizational process and train maintenance employees
    • Approximately 10-15% travel

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supervise the three (3) hourly Tool Crib Attendants
    • Direct PM planners
    • Occasionally directly supervises Maintenance teams for weekend or off shift

     CAPABILITIES:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Collaborative leadership and working style
    • Able to multi-task and prioritize
    • Effectively lead hourly employees
    • Able at interacting with all levels of management including senior leadership

     SKILLS/PROFICIENCIES:

    • MS Office suite
    • Knowledge and ability to work with systems that manage work flow for Maintenance environments

     EXPERIENCE:

    • Three to five years of Maintenance supervisory experience preferred
    • Experience working in Maintenance functions for food manufacturing environments preferred

     EDUCATION:

    • Associates level education
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
