    This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Network Optimization and Supply Chain Strategy to provide analytical and modeling support for network design and strategy projects.  The person filling this role will manipulate, cleanse, and analyze large datasets for our network Design studies. The person filling the role will be responsible for managing the modeling software ‘LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru’ and Data Manipulation Software “LLamasoft Data Guru” to develop analytics that provide strategic and tactical solutions to manage spend, minimize risk, and optimize efficient execution across the fulfillment organization. The person filing this role will also be responsible for project management, driving certain recommendations through the entire lifecycle from idea through execution. 



    • Provide analytical and data management support for network optimization studies.
    • Obtain, cleanse, aggregate, and manipulate historical and benchmark data in SQL and Access databases; Manage and maintain timely updates of model data for reliable analysis of opportunities.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Transportation, Warehousing operations to identify and test opportunities for modeling
    • Become a SuperUser of the LLamasoft software and functionality
    • Work with the Continuous Improvement Program for the Fulfillment team
    • Network Modeling and scenario running to determine short and long term cost savings and service opportunities
      • Model impacts of transportation and market conditions
      • Work with Procurement on the lowest landed cost selection criteria for co-manufacturers and supplier shipping origins
      • Assist with Scenario building for consolidation manufacturing/distribution locations or additional locations to support the business and service levels.
      • Update rates and model quarterly in the LLamasoft system to maintain accurate information 
    • Evaluate other network/customer programs to ensure efficiency, drive Direct Plant shipments, most cost effective terms of sale, CPU or PPD.
    • Manage project teams to see select recommendations through to execution.



    • Strong skill set in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and SQL Queries is required
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, dynamic thinking, listening and communication skills are required
    • Ability to transform large datasets into insights with advanced computer skills
    • Self-motivated, confident, results oriented, accurate, solution driven with a strong quantitative acumen
    • Strong conceptual understanding of Supply chain architecture and strategic fundamentals is a plus
    • 0- 3 years of experience as Industrial Engineer, database analyst/ coder/ financial / strategic analyst /LLamasoft modeler


    BS/BA in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or other strong quantitative backgrounds.






    Approximate 10% of annual travel
