    Position Summary

    Boulder Brands, Inc. is looking for a qualified Inventory Analyst to join our efforts as we continue to create a health & wellness innovation platform that builds brands targeted at highly motivated consumer need states.

     

    We are looking for a hands-on individual located in Denver who will report to the Cost Accounting Manager.  

    The Inventory Analyst position is accountable for the ongoing analysis of inventory variances.   The position will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and analyzing daily cycle counts. This role will also be responsible for reporting financial metrics to the operations management team and provide analysis on any variances.  

    Principal Accountabilities:

    • Use various company systems to collect inventory, production and cost related data.
    • Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts
    • Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
    • Reconciling inventory transfers between plant and distribution center
    • Monitor inventory risks related to, but not limited to, expiration dates and days of supply
    • Conduct ongoing process cost analyses
    • Report on periodic variances and their causes
    • Work with cross-functional teams by providing accurate manufacturing information                  
    • Produce ad-hoc data analysis and work on special projects when needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Experience, Talent and Education

    • BA/BS degree preferred
    • Excellent analysis skills
    • Ability to collaborate with a multi-department team
    • Experience manipulating large databases required
    • Proficient to advanced Excel skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present to all levels of colleagues
    • Highest level of integrity, including an ability to preserve sensitive and confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
    • Strong organizational and problem solving skills; a self-starter with a high energy level and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a sense of urgency and a good sense of humor.
    • BPCS experience preferred
