    This position will be responsible for providing supply chain planning and analytical support for a number of innovation/renovation projects. This position will primarily focus on the multi-year transition across the Frozen franchise to Shopper Ready Packaging (SRP). Given the size and scale of the business, this role will manage the materials and finished goods run-out of the existing version while simultaneously ensuring adequate inventories are built and maintained of the new packaging style. Consistent two-way communication with the materials and supply planners is the key to a successful transition delivered within budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting progress in weekly and monthly forums, identifying risk and working with cross-functional partners to mitigate. In addition, this position will be responsible for supply planning for one of our foundation brand portfolios. Responsibilities in this area include (but are not limited to) the delivery of monthly purchase and/or production plans (using latest forecast consensus) that align with SKU-level DOS (days of supply) targets to support the company’s customer fill rate (CFR) goal. Quarterly review of SKU-level inventory targets that balance service and cash requirements, and management of production capacity within line and labor capabilities. The position will report to the Director of Frozen Supply Planning.



    • Interface closely with Materials and Supply Planners to minimize material and finished goods risk of transitioning SKUs; ensure adequate supply of new version is built and maintained to target DOS for launch and eventual turn volume
    • Track and report progress in weekly/monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) sessions
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to address risks to SLOB (slow moving and obsolete) budget and/or supply shortages
    • In conjunction with Materials Planners, work with packaging and raw materials vendors to ensure FIFO policy adherence and accurate inventory reconciliation
    • In partnership with Supply and Materials planners, analyze demand trends and make recommendations regarding production/purchase schedules with the goal of minimizing exposure and maximizing CFR
    • Prepares a constrained master production plan monthly for a designated manufacturing plant for an 18-month horizon
    • Update and maintains the rough cut capacity plan over the 18 month IBP planning horizon
    •  Manage defined portfolio to target DOS (days of supply) that balance corporate service and cash requirements
    • Analyze and define materials inventory policy that aligns with manufacturing attainment, providing flexibility while maintaining target plant stock levels
    • Analyze production plans and schedules to control and monitor the inbound flow of packaging and ingredients through the production process
    • Develop and maintain good communication processes with all other organizations and departments within the supply chain
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Supply Planning in support of SRP project and supply planning duties




    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project, inventory or materials management
    • Professional experience in a food manufacturing environment or food products industry, preferred
    • Experience leading continuous improvement processes in a planning, purchasing or warehousing environment.

    • Knowledge of computer applications as they relate to work, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word and Project) applications.

    • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain Management is preferred
    • APICS Certification Preferred



    • 5-10% travel required
