    The Sr. Manager, Material Planning Process is responsible for continuous improvement of processes and reports within S&OP, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Finite Scheduling with the goal of creating standard best practices to support optimizing inventory, resource and production plans, while achieving lowering SC cost, improving customer service, and increasing network optimization.



    • Develop common approaches to S&OP, MRP and finite scheduling processes, including the creation and enhancement of tools, documentation, and reporting
    • Drive the implementation and adherence of new processes and standardization within the manufacturing facilities, such as rhythm production wheels, raw material safety stock policies, and shop order reconciliation
    • Guide the set-up of planning policies and parameters within the Advanced Planning and Analytics software and serve as the primary interface between the planning and IT organizations.
    • Develop a deep functional knowledge of our planning system capabilities, and work with the IT and planning organizations to implement enhancements to support the business
    • Manage the development and sharing of best practices within planning, MRP, and finite scheduling and stay current on industry best practices
    • Ensure processes are sustainable by establishing new hire training plans, master data update schedules, and adapting processes to business and systems changes



    • Business or Operations experience, with solid quantitative and process improvement skills
    • Demonstrated knowledge of demand/supply planning, inventory/materials management, and sales/operations planning processes and best practices. 
    • Conversant in supply chain planning systems including Advanced Planning System software (specific experience with Oracle a plus), ERP, and data warehousing/BI tools
    • 5-8 years of experience in Materials Planning —preferably in food manufacturing
    • APICS Certification preferred
    • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload
    • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
    • Ability to work effectively and creatively in a resource lean environment
    • Detail orientated, reliable, resourceful with a relentless focus on outcomes
    • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize under pressure
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and with multiple levels of the organization


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Business required
