    Responsibilities

     

    JOB SUMMARY

     

    We are looking for a Shopper Marketing Manager with 3+ years of experience developing omni-channel consumer and shopper marketing plans. As a key member of the marketing team, the Shopper Marketing Manager will lead will lead planning, execution, customer sell-in and measurement of strategic shopper marketing initiatives across traditional and e-commerce channels. The successful candidate will be strategic, collaborative, creative and results-oriented.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Lead strategic planning of annual shopper marketing programs to achieve brand and channel growth targets
    • Collaborate with brand, sales/customers, and agencies to integrate shopper efforts with other activation types
    • Manage agencies, 3rd party vendor relationships, and strategic partnerships to flawlessly execute approved programs
    • Communicate shopper programming plans and impact, primarily via program sell in w/customers, integrated marketing calendars, and post program reporting
    • Consult on all other integrated marketing efforts including advertising, social/digital marketing, and influencer marketing
    • Measure and analyze program effectiveness using IRI and customer shopper data
    • Manage shopper budgets, test-n-learn opportunities, and contingency plans

     

    Qualifications

     

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

     

    • Strong strategic and creative thinking skills to deliver results
    • Ability to analyze consumption and behavioral data to inform shopper plans
    • Able to understand the needs of and interact effectively with cross-functional partners
    • Self-starter with ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to on time completion
    • Excellent communication skills: oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal
    • Ability to effectively manage third-party (supplier) resources
    • 3+ years’ prior experience developing strategic, omni-channel consumer and shopper marketing for CPG (client or agency side, food experience preferred)
    • Extensive prior experience developing strategic shopper marketing plans for top tier brick and mortar retail customers is required; e-comm experience a plus
    • Prior experience with 3rd party providers, including Kroger 84.51, Quotient, Inmar, Ibotta, Catalina, and the News America suite
    • Consumption data analytical skills using IRI/Nielsen (required); customer shopper card data experience a plus

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising
