    The Commercialization Manager is required to lead cross-functional teams on projects that could be new product introduction, product or package renovation, margin enhancement, or strategy. The position is based at the Boulder Brands HQ in Boulder, CO. This position leads all planning and implementation aspects of the project and is organizationally aligned in the Research and Development department due to the innovation demands.




      • Commercialize product or package innovation, renovation, and cost savings projects for consumer packaged goods
      • Strategic leadership to align business goals to projects and portfolio of projects
      • Drive project results while maintaining team alignment and customer focus
      • Develop and improve business processes that streamline projects, processes, and improve efficiency
      • Design project plan and work required to deliver project goals Identify project team requirements internal and or external) and secure their membership in the team
      • Lead the kick-off team meeting for a project to establish the project mission, scope, critical success factors and time line.
      • Follow effective project management protocols, including facilitating team meetings, keeping action registers and updating time lines.
      • Measure project results by identifying project metrics and track and gauge success
      • Lead the development of project risks and mitigation strategies
      • Effectively communicate when project problems arise, identify solutions, and elevate if necessary
      • Manage the project budget
      • Provide project updates to stakeholders, sponsors, and senior leaders
      • Be an advocate for the project (s) and the business
      • Organize capital requests to achieve project goals and present to business leadership






      • Excellent communication , presentation, and people skills
      • Food CPG manufacturing experience with a sound understanding of commercialization from idea to shelf
      • History of successful project management that deliver projects on time and in budget
      • Budget management
      • Provide project updates to stakeholders, sponsors, and senior leaders
      • Organization and drive
      • Proactive and positive leadership that is results focused
      • Be able to work with ambiguous situations and thoughts and translate them into defined project goals and scope
      • Ability to work across all levels of the organization




    • No direct reports. This position will require influencing your cross-functional team members. Provides input on evaluation of team member effectiveness.



    •  B.S. in Project Management or Engineering, or PMP certification



    • 5-10 % travel
