    SCOPE OF POSITION:

     

    The Senior Financial Analyst of Corporate Finance (SFA) is responsible for providing analytical and decision support related to the planning, forecasting and performance management of the entire company. The role is highly visible and will provide information to senior management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings, along with recommendations. The SFA will also develop various ad hoc models, processes, and reports to track key metrics, analyze and interpret data. The SFA will support senior finance leaders with the development of financial and business presentations to the Executive Leadership Team, the Board of Directors, and external audiences.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Responsible for preparing, analyzing and reporting financial and business information for senior leaders including the monthly CFO / Executive Management packages, quarterly Earnings Call, and Board of Directors presentations
    • Work closely with business units and functional teams to gain insight into performance drivers and identify the impact of these key drivers on results and subsequent forecasts
    • Develop and maintain financial models for strategic plan, annual operating plan, and forecasts
    • Responsible for support and analytics for strategic plan, annual operating plan, business reviews, forecasts, post-audits, CAPEX analysis, cash flow, and mergers & acquisitions

    Qualifications

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

     

    • 3 – 5 years of progressing, relevant, financial work experience
    • Solid financial acumen and highly proficient in accounting/financial principles
    • Advanced modeling capabilities and technical skills with a variety of systems, especially Excel and MS office (Visual Basic, Access, macros, Oracle Planning, Essbase..)
    • Highly analytical, with proven ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data, develop insights and recommendations and transform them into easily understood and compelling presentations
    • Experience working on annual operating plans, strategic plans, business reviews, post-audits, CAPEX analysis, cash flow, and acquisition modeling
    • Self-motivated and self-directed, with a high sense of urgency and ability to work under tight deadlines while juggling multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, public company environment
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as, ability to work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment
    • Familiarity with capital markets, investor relations and applicable public disclosures
    • Experience in presenting work directly to executive and senior leaders

     

     

    EDUCATION:

     

    • Minimum required Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics), MBA preferred.

     

    TRAVEL:

     

    • Less than 5% of travel required.
