    The Materials specialist is responsible for ensuring that production is supplied with proper materials for Daily adherence and attainment needs. Ensuring our warehouse space maintains proper utilization. Works with the team daily towards the achievement of the plant and warehouse goals. Working along with daily production schedulers to ensure materials arrive on time and working with transportation and procurement for follow ups. 


    • Entering in daily receipt orders based on production needs
    • Entering in daily shipments based on storage needs
    • Working closely with bulk procurement on purchased needs and transportation
    • Working closely with production scheduling to determine needs / inventory
    • Cross Train on several tasks including but not limited to daily and weekly scheduling
    • Help to manage obsolete inventory and usage

    Any other tasks as required by management


    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:  Associates Degree and 3-5 years clerical experience in a manufacturing environment.  Microsoft office suite, oracle, and ability to learn in house AS400 systems as the job requires.


    SKILLS/PROFICIENCIES: Demonstrated proficient with Microsoft Office. Has the ability to work overtime with a flexible schedule. Be able to work in cold conditions. Experience in Food Manufacturing is a plus.
