    The Senior Cost Analyst leads cost accounting activity for the plant and maintains internal controls. This position will partner with departmental leads to develop annual budgets, forecast quarterly results, analyze cost savings initiatives, and develop standard costs for new products. 





    • Provide analysis and performance improvement recommendations driving down unit manufacturing costs
    • Partner with Continuous Improvement Engineer to identify cost savings projects and related ROI models
    • Develop strong working relations with plant and department managers to create annual budgets and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast metrics
    • Maintain inventory BOMs, routings, and develop standard costs
    • Develop standard costs for new innovation
    • Analyze yield, labor, and overhead variances
    • Reconcile inventory, evaluate reserves, and provide support for all aspects of the month end close
    • Support all SOX controls and audits with emphasis on inventory controls

    • Strong cost accounting knowledge with focus on analytical ability
    • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
    • Proficiency in the use of MS Office software including advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners
    • Knowledge of proper accounting controls
    • SAP, JD Edwards, BPCS, and Essbase a plus



    • Plant cost accounting experience required, Consumer products a plus
    • Financial analysis experience
    • Accounting and financial control experience



    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA a plus
