    Build a category story for retailers that will help establish a destination within the Baking Mix category that will delight Shoppers who are seeking “permissible indulgence”.  In turn, this destination will bring new Consumers to the category while also returning lapsed users who were unable to find products to meet the needs of their changing families.  The project objectives include:

    • Profitably grow sales in the Bake Mix category for Retailers, Pinnacle Foods/Duncan Hines Brand
    • Increase household penetration and buy rate in the category as well as the Bake aisle
    • Firmly establish Pinnacle Foods as the “leader” in Cake Mix and the go to “thought leader” in the category and aisle



    • Category analysis
    • Competitive Analysis and optimal assortment
    • Virtual Shelving utilizing cutting edge technology
    • Retailer story development



    • Currently enrolled in a degreed program at an accredited university with a minimum of freshman year completed
    • Have a working knowledge of CPG and the Food Industry… experience helpful, but not required
    • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel and Power Point in particular)
    • Have a basic working knowledge of syndicated data systems (examples include IRI, Nielsen, 84.51, EYC, etc.)… experience very helpful, but not required
    • Have an aptitude for working with an exciting dynamic Sales organization
    • Be a team player who comes to play everyday
