PROJECT SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain (Planning) Co-Op role lasts approximately 6 months at our corporate headquarters in Parsippany, NJ.  The role will lead several projects to support objectives within our Planning function, as well as participating in “real world” planning activities.  Activities will include supply and/or demand planning within our planning systems, supply/demand model report creation and analysis, continuous improvement strategies that will optimize our customer service, and managing inventory levels to deliver overall cost to the business.

 

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development and maintenance of supply planning models to optimize both customer service and inventory levels
  • Development and maintenance of demand planning models, utilizing all available customer and consumer insights to create an accurate demand plan
  • Root cause analysis in supply related disruptions, including rigorous problem solving and solution development
  • Creation and publication of daily out of stock reports to provide visibility of supply health to the organization
  • Maintenance of inventory planning solutions to optimize our inventory position
  • Other projects as required

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of second year towards a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office experience required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as required (limited)
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
