SCOPE OF POSITION:

 

The Sales Financial Analyst will work directly with Sales Finance supporting customer sales teams focused on promotional and settlement management. 

Responsibilities

                            

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following; other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead slotting budget and tracking process, partner with Trade Finance Manager to ensure slotting is managed within allocated budget.
  • Lead deduction process with RD/BM/BMA, provide update to manager on a weekly basis
  • Ensure deductions are within assigned guidelines by providing direction to Broker partners on weekly basis
  • Maintain Reporting- Daily, weekly reporting, check release, open payable reporting
  • Validate and process customer event payments within SG&A budget
  • Assess and provide recommendations to improve promotional planning based customer policies, practices and settlement behavior

 

 

Qualifications

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Consumer Package Goods Sales or Sales Finance preferred.
  • Proven experience in trade spending management and analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
  • Flexibility, ability to work under tight timelines. Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
  • Self-starter who takes the initiative
  • Ability to aggregate and manage large amounts of data
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient at establishing relationships with cross-functional
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills to operate in a matrix organization.
  • Creative thinker
  • Quick learner in a fast paced environment
  • Outstanding analytical skills, demonstrating an ability to recommend business opportunities based on insights.
  • Ability to work cross functionally within the organization
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.

EDUCATION:

  • BS Degree required, MBA preferred
