ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned

  • Defines specific strategic business objectives to maximize sales, share growth and enhanced profitability for assigned brand portfolio. Leads the development of Customer/ Market/Category/Brand strategies, objectives and tactics.
  • Responsible for the execution and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual Objectives, Goals, Strategies, Metrics as stated in the company's business plan.
  • Effectively manages both volume and spending to deliver the brand objectives (monthly, quarterly and annually).
  • Identifies and engages the customer to drive incremental sales and by understanding the digital implications of the competitive landscape.
  • Works closely with brand management and product management to maintain a robust and comprehensive product road map for the channel.
  • Develop Pinnacle Foods brand portfolios in line with portfolio distribution, and display objectives established for each brand.
  • Utilize syndicated data (IRI reports, Spectra Demographics), and category management studies to provide fact based analysis and deliver business building initiatives.
  • Delivery of fiscal responsibilities:
    • Delivery of gross sales and profitability objectives.
    • Management of trade spending (all associated funding) to the budget.
    • Manage deductions within assigned target range.
    • Manage the financial system to ensure deal entry is timely and deal reconciliation is conducted.
  • Track and evaluate sales performance against volume, promotions, new items and spending objectives.
  • Lead the effort on pre and post promotional evaluations that provide the foundation for the improved future development of promotional programs and maximize ROI.
  • Work with brand teams to maintain content for existing assortment and develop for new launches
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure delivery of high service levels to all Amazon Platforms
  • Provide guidance to various groups on how to properly work within Vendor Central to process POs, clear deductions, remit payments, etc.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the consumer package goods industry including 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce sales/account management capacity.
  • Experience with Amazon and Vendor Central required.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Developed and executed strategic and tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.
  • Effective time management skills with ability to manage projects independently from start to finish.
  • Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Amazon search ranking methodology
  • Highly customer focused to participate in and facilitate customer and group meetings.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management, including senior leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Solid computer skills and knowledge of uses sales database tracking programs
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Strong leadership qualities both with customers and employees.




Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA is desired






20% travel annually
