SCOPE OF POSITION:

 
The Project Manager oversees the planning, cross functional implementation, and tracking of specific short and medium term projects which have a beginning, an end and specified deliverables. The PM will drive Innovation, Renovation and other complex projects requiring high levels of cross-functional collaboration.

 

 

Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

    • Team Leadership
      • For highly cross functional projects lead the cross functional execution – main point of contact for the team and management
      • Actively lead vs providing a project management service
        • Drive the timeline while exploring ways to accelerate
        • Hold cross functional members accountable, call out when not meeting commitments, drive team forward
        • Seek cross functional alignment, escalate when not getting it
    • Cross Functional Process Leadership
      • Drive consistency and process improvements with focus on
        • Stage Gate Process
        • Proponent and driver of the use of Project management practices
        • Go to market process coordination
        • Post project manufacturing analysis and review
        • Risk and tradeoff analysis
        • Assist in managing regulatory and graphics priorities
    • Supply Chain Coordination
        • Facilitate site selection between Manufacturing. R&D and procurement
        • Initial assessment and coordination of capacity
        • Help to sequence Plant, engineering, and regulatory
    • Leadership Role in Innovation & Renovation Projects
    • Support Brand, as needed, in complicated & highly cross-functional initiatives

 

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PMP trained and certified
  • Minimum 2-3 years prior experience in a Project Management role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated passion for food and food trends
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Practical competencies in Microsoft Word, Excel and cloud based collaboration tools
  • Ability to motivate others, hold others accountable for deliverables and problem solve across all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines and communications with co-workers, peers and stakeholders at all organizational levels

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
