Scope of Position: 

 

 

The Senior Financial Analyst role is responsible for providing analytical and decision support related to the Supply Chain.  The role is suited for a career-minded individual ready to advance as the company grows.  Working closely with cross-functional partners including Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Planning, and Engineering, this role will have high exposure within the organization.

 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Supply Chain FP&A
  • Cross-Functional team as part of the S&OP Process to help gain alignment and understanding of changes in volume, inventory, capital, and translate into Monthly Forecast updates
  • Support the development of Annual Plan P&L by working with Cross-Function partners for key assumptions. Perform analysis of drivers of variances vs. Base Year and Prior Year versions and support presentation needs including P&L and cause of change. Ensure Annual Plan is built into Planning System including appropriate monthly pacing and product mix.
  • Monthly Close and Forecasting activities, including analysis of variations vs. PY and forecast, reporting, consolidation of Supply Chain reporting and forecasting, Monthly Close/Forecast Package, and.
  • Development of presentations summarizing operational drivers and opportunities.
  • Analytical support for strategic projects.
  • Facilitate Aged Inventory tracking and reviews to ensure minimal P&L impacts and forecasting for expected impacts as issues surface.

 

Qualifications

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business, MBA preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of progressing, relevant, Financial work experience
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting/finance principles
  • Strong analytical, leadership, inter-personal, and communication skills, with the ability to transform data into insights
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, both independently and with a cross-functional team
  • Adept multi-tasker who can prioritize and manage multiple requirements with tight timelines
  • Strong technical skills with variety of systems, especially Excel and MS Office
