SCOPE OF POSITION:

The Walmart Sr Customer Service representative is responsible for ensuring optimal service to Walmart, utilizing customer and internal information to ensure a consistent level of supply which meets the expectations of their supplier.  The Sr. Customer Service Representative will also work with internal stakeholders to identify supply chain efficiency opportunities in the order-to-delivery process with the customer.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:           

  • Serve as the primary customer contact in the areas of order management and price/promotional discrepancies, order issues, product/order shortages and late deliveries.
  • Respond positively to, and expeditiously process all incoming orders, email responses and phone calls from Walmart and Pinnacle Sales.
  • Demonstrate effectiveness in utilizing relationships with other functional departments within the organization, not limited to, but including upper management where necessary; and utilizing outside resources in seeking and supplying information.
  • Uses Walmart’s Retail Link, OMS and Pinnacle’s ERP to: optimize truckloads, optimize ordering patterns, monitor inventory levels, analyze and root cause OTIF failures, identify and understand trends and engage appropriate resources to anticipate customer needs
  • Ensure optimal service on all promotional events, engaging Sales, Customer Logistics, internal supply teams and the customer as appropriate.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, multi-task, and demonstrate technical competence.
  • Ability to expand knowledge base.

 

Qualifications

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office software including skilled in the use of MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience utilizing Walmart’s Retail Link and OMS information system to ensure optimal service to the customer.

EDUCATION:

  • BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, or Engineering and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
