The Manufacturing Accountant is an entry level position, responsible to supply financial support and reporting to plant operations.  Successful candidates will rotate through the areas of Cost Accounting, GL Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Payroll. During these rotations, the person will be responsible for standard reporting/processing. As the person gains knowledge of the area, additional analysis will also be expected.



  • When in the Cost rotation, completes standard reports such as Weekly Production, Production Variance, OEE and Labor. Track Standard Cost Requests and MVP projects.
  • When in the GL rotation, complete standard reports related to weekly spending and capital projections. Complete standard closing entries and month end reconciliations.
  • When in the Inventory Accounting rotation complete weekly inventory and yield reports. Review shop orders daily and monitor reporting through WMS (Savanah).
  • When in the Payroll Rotation complete weekly Kronos processing in an accurately and timely manner. Complete attendance maintenance and all other payroll reporting.

  • BPCS and Essbase a plus



  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Two years work experience, including part-time or internships.
